Understanding the Heart of Shabddkhel
Before diving into the design process, we dedicated time to understanding the soul of Shabddkhel—the poetry, the passion, and the essence of the site. Our core question was: How do we give the art of Shayari the platform it deserves while creating a fresh, intuitive experience?
UI/UX Design to Reflect the Poetry’s Emotion
Our goal was clear—make the user experience as fluid as the poetry itself. We focused on seamless navigation and thoughtful design:
- Shayari Archive:
We created a segregated Shayari archive, categorized by type (Ghazals, Nazms, Sher, Songs) and by poet, allowing users to easily find what they were looking for without feeling overwhelmed. - Intuitive Layout:
The content was organized in a way that felt natural—every piece of poetry had its place, ensuring a pleasant and stress-free experience for visitors.
Building a Dynamic, Scalable Backend
Next, we worked on the backend to ensure the website could grow and evolve with ease:
- Content Management:
The backend portal was designed for simplicity. Admins could easily add new content by entering basic information, and the system would auto-generate fully styled pages, no coding required. - Multi-language Support:
We ensured the site was versatile by enabling Shayari to be displayed in multiple languages (Hindi, English) and also as Shayari Images, making it accessible to a wider audience.
Custom Post Portals for Different Shayari Types
Each type of Shayari deserved its own attention and design. To achieve this, we built custom portals for each category:
- Tailored Design:
Whether it was Ghazals, Nazms, Songs, or Sher, each category had its own unique design, ensuring that the poetry was displayed in the most beautiful and respectful way possible. - Showcasing the Art Form:
It wasn’t just about displaying words—it was about showing them off in their purest and most artistic form.
Rotating Featured Content
We wanted the homepage to feel vibrant and dynamic, so we incorporated rotating featured content:
- Top Sher & Featured Ghazals:
A dynamic display of top Sher, featured Ghazals, and other rotating content was added to keep the site fresh and engaging, encouraging users to return. - Shareable Poetry:
Every piece of featured content was shareable, allowing the beauty of Shayari to spread far and wide.
